Ensuring

education

for children

"The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you."

Anugraha organization has been working for over 14 years to ensure that every child can attend school and complete their education without facing discrimination based on gender, caste, or socio-economic status.

Our

education

Program

With a population of 1.34 billion, India’s literacy rates are unimaginably low. The rate of poverty is high, and the rate of literacy arouses further despair. With the lack of public funds and the prevalent poverty, children in villages can barely imagine going to school, alone attaining a higher education and a secure job. Coming from a background where education is looked upon as a luxury, these kids are compelled to resort to working at a young age to support their families financially. This does little to uplift their living conditions or financial background. Unlike people in cities who are able to provide the best education to their children along with sports activities and hobby classes, residents of rural areas, are unable to afford the fees, uniforms, books, and transport associated. The additional expenses further deter countless children from pursuing a school education.

Anugraha Organisation
Promoting Education Awareness. Education broadens the horizons of the mind and prepares young children to face challenges. It helps inculcate integral values, knowledge, intelligence and confidence. This phase of transformation is the beginning to great things ahead for every child.

To bridge the gap between the privileged and the underprivileged free education is provided for the poor. With research carried out, the reasons which are stopping education is poverty, unawareness of its benefits, accessibility and many other social issues so awareness programs are done first followed by the execution of free education. We have around 37 kids whose educational care is taken by Anugraha Organization® till 10th standard.

It has been observed that Anganwadi centres play a big role in preparing children for formal primary school. They help children develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes that are critical for them to succeed in school as well as later in life.

We conduct many programs in school to develop their skills by creating competitions, quiz programs, camps, etc. And we encourage the students by giving them awards.

Enrolling children in school provides numerous benefits that contribute to their overall development and future success.

Knowledge Acquisition:

    • Children gain access to a structured curriculum that covers various subjects, helping them acquire essential knowledge and skills.

Critical Thinking:

    • Schools encourage critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through various academic activities and challenges.

"The Courage of Asha"

In a small village in Karnataka, Asha was known for her curiosity and determination. She was the eldest daughter in her family and always helped her mother with household chores. Despite her responsibilities, Asha dreamed of going to school. Her father, however, believed that girls should stay at home and prepare for marriage.

One day, a new teacher arrived in the village. Ms. Radhika noticed Asha’s keen interest in learning and decided to visit her home. After much persuasion, Asha’s father reluctantly agreed to let her attend school for a few hours each day.

Asha faced many challenges. She had to wake up early, finish her chores, and walk several kilometers to school. She studied under the dim light of a kerosene lamp at night. Despite these hardships, Asha excelled in her studies.

Her perseverance paid off when she won a scholarship to attend a prestigious school in the city. Asha’s journey inspired many girls in her village to pursue education, breaking the cycle of poverty and ignorance.
